Kelly Wolbert: Value & Worth

Kelly Wolbert: Value & Worth

There is cost, and then there is worth. For Kelly Wolbert, investing in handmade functional ceramics has added depth, personality, and versatility to her beautiful Pacific Northwest home. Oh and each piece is one of a kind. Kelly has placed worth over cost as she has invested in handmade goods to bring the heartbeat of creators into her caringly-curated space. “Purchasing hand-crafted items is an investment, but each item is so unique and not something you can buy at a big box store.” Read more about Kelly and her love of functional goods in the first customer feature in the YEAR of YOU.

Veak

Veak Ceramics is created and owned by Sarah Veak. Sarah apprenticed under a wood-fire potter in upstate New York from 2010-2012. Since then she has worked in various studios across the country, and currently operates as a one-woman show out of her studio space in Kansas City, MO.

Veak Ceramics is a collection of functional wares influenced by modern mid-century design, infused with a rustic handmade appeal. Veak Ceramics desires its products to foster a gathering of community and the human connection of both nourishment and beauty.
